R18 Survival Game - Chapter 12
Hearing this terrifying answer, Ji Ning’s eyes widened in horror. Such a terrible rule was not clearly written in the prompt!
Ji Ning thought again that without Xing Ye, she wouldn’t be able to know things that she had never experienced before. It seemed that there was a big difference between a newcomer who had never passed the game and an experienced player.
She began to wonder, what would it be like after clearing the level?
Xing Ye touched her hand comfortingly and whispered, “You have a rest first and take care of yourself. I’m going to find a way to check on the body. There’s also the suspicious captain.”
“Then I’ll go too.”
Ji Ning didn’t want to get something from Xing Ye for nothing.
Considering her identity, she explained to Xing Ye, “I’m going to take a look at the perimeter I discovered before.”
“Okay, then pay attention to your safety.” Xing Ye appreciated her attitude, not to mention that the plan she mentioned was not dangerous.
The two of them split up and agreed to meet up for lunch.
Ji Ning walked around the deck with her arms folded as if just unintentionally walking around, and finally saw the girl at the stern of the ship.
The name of this NPC was found to be Yang Yi from the list provided by the system, but Ji Ning must still pretend not to know her.
Ji Ning walked up to Yang Yi and leaned on the fence like her. She sighed and said, “It’s so scary when I think that the murderer is still on the boat. It can’t be some kind of murderous maniac could it?…”
As she looked at the sea, she looked at Yang Yi from the corner of her eye and found that her expression had become tense for no reason after listening to Ji Ning. She responded hesitantly, “Yes… yes, it’s so scary.”
Yang Yi seemed to feel very upset by Ji Ning mentioning this matter. She felt uncomfortable, but her fear was not the same as the fear of a murder.
Ji Ning felt that Yang Yi must have a secret.
Thinking about it deeply again, she saw Mr. Hui looking for Yang Yi last night, and she knew that she couldn’t underestimate the importance of Yang Yi.
Yang Yi might be a witness or a participant. In short, you shouldn’t pay less attention to her just because she looked weak and harmless.
After all, in most movies and novels, the person who seemed least likely to be the murderer is often close to the final truth.
Ji Ning had always kept this in mind.
After thinking about it, Ji Ning sighed tentatively, “I was taken away by a young master last night. We were together all night. I don’t know how this happened.”
Yang Yi did not face Ji Ning’s words directly.
She simply sighed, “Alas…”
According to Ji Ning’s guess, if Yang Yi had alibi, she would have definitely followed with her own words and talked about where she was last night. This was an obvious psychology.
Assuming that both of them were outsiders in the murder case, they would more or less talk about the alibi of the relevant individuals.
But Yang Yi avoided talking about it. And then she simply turned around and left.
It didn’t feel right to chase after Yang Yi anymore, so Ji Ning simply went back to the fitting room to find her cell phone, trying to see if she could, like Xing Ye, search for any information about Yang Yi from the Internet.
Ji Ning searched for a long time on search engines and several social software, but the name Yang Yi was way too common. The amount of information found was huge, but no particular information about Yang Yi could be found.
Ji Ning had no choice but to return to the deck and wait for Xing Ye to return.
After Hui Shao was killed, the cruise ship returned to shore. Hui Shao’s girlfriend was still in a state of collapse. No one on the ship stood up to seek justice to find the murderer. Everything was in chaos.
Ji Ning sat on the bow of the boat, still trying to search for news about Yang Yi.
Unfortunately, she still couldn’t find it even until Xing Ye came back.
“How is it?”
Ji Ning looked up at Xing Ye’s expression, trying to tell whether the result was good or bad from his face.
It was a pity that Xing Ye’s face always had that stern look, and she really couldn’t tell.
Xing Ye sat down next to Ji Ning and said to her, “There’s something wrong with the stab wounds on the body. The wounds are like slanting to the right, and there’s a fatal wound on the back of the head.”
“Slanted to the right?” Ji Ning reacted immediately and used her hand to gesture, “Is it because he used the knife with his left hand, so the knife wound was slanted to the right?”
Xing Ye nodded.
Ji Ning’s eyes widened slightly, thinking of the left-handed bodyguard. Could it be that he caused the knife wound?
Xing Ye whispered: “And I happened to hear that player No. 5 who got the identity of the bodyguard inquired about the person who left the room for a long time last night.”
Adding the two pieces of information together, it seems that the answer to who the murderer is has pointed to the left-handed bodyguard.
At this moment, the system panel lit up.
Ji Ning opened the panel and saw an additional line of prompt below:
[Player No. 5’s answer is wrong, Accepting complete erasure]
